... Hiking with us
Since 2013, our farm is a certified Wanderbetrieb. That means from that time on we will offer guided hiking tours with qualified hikig-guides for beginners as well as advanced hikers up to six times per week. We will also offer taxi transport from the farm to the hiking location and back, backpacks for rent, as well as hiking sticks. These are only some features of the extensive offers of our Wanderbetrieb. Usually once a week we like to invide our guests to a common hiking tour. Depending in time and physical condition, there are a lot of aims: beautiful alps in the valleys of the nationalpark Hohen Tauern - or in the sunny and grassy Kitzbüheler Alpen. Stife, impressive mountain tops and idyllic ways and landscapes are waiting: lots of unforgetable experiences. We are looking forward for a common hike! Hiking enthusiasts will be more than satisfied with our region. The nationalpark Hohe Tauern offers more than 5400 kilometres of marked trails. The selection of hiking destinations is rather extensive and diverse. Whether for a relaxing stroll or an exciting ascent of a summit, the nationalpark Hohe Tauern caters for all those interests. Only a few minutes away from our farm, the Knappenwanderweg ('varlet's trail') leads along the Mühlbach river towards the Bürgel-hut, where hikers can allay their thirst and strengthen their bodies again with small regional dishes. For more advanced hikers we offer summits such as the Großvenediger, the Stubacher Sonnblick or Großer Rettenschtein, or the Kitzsteinhorn, to only mention a few. |
