There are various offers for winter sports – enthusiasts:
- Skiing (3km -Resterhöhe and Panoramabahn combined with Kitzbühler Bergbahnen, 10km Zell am See / Schmittenhöhe, 7km glacier-lifts Kaprun / Kitzsteinhorn, 10km Wildkogelarena)
- cross-country skiing (Pinzga-cross-country ski trail, with more than 50km of trail, as well as several round trails)
- sleding (several well prepared natural sleding-slopes with restaurants nearby, a highlight in the region is most definitely the 14km long, illuminated Wildkogel-sleding slope)
- Skitouring (various peaks and trails, as well as extensive offerings of guided tours)
Whether you are already one of the pros or you simply starting to explore the fun of winter sports, you do not have to bring any equipment with you. You will most of the time find a ski-rental directly at the skilifts, as well as extensive informations for ski-courses.

Various guided tours are offered for skitouring. Similar to the summer the offers range from easy tours for beginners to glacier tours for the more advanced sportsperson.
